Our mission is to bring comfort to children through soft companions during their most difficult moments. We believe every child deserves a source of warmth and hope while navigating the challenges of a hospital stay. To support this, Bears for Brady hosts multiple different fundraisers throughout the year to bring stuffed animals and comfort to hospitalized children. Our biggest fundraiser is our Stuff-Your-Own-Animal stations at local festivals— for every animal bought, one is donated. Not only does this help us raise money to buy more stuffed animals, it also helps us spread awareness about Bears for Brady.

Meet the Heart Behind Every Hug
Bears for Brady began with one little girl’s big heart.
When 9-year-old Brooklyn’s little brother Brady had to stay in the hospital, she felt something she had never felt before—sad, worried, and far away from someone she loved so much. Because of hospital rules, Brooklyn couldn’t visit him, and that made it even harder.
All she wanted to do was hug her brother.
But since she couldn’t be there, Brooklyn thought of something special. She gathered her favorite stuffed animals—the ones that had comforted her on tough days—and wished she could send them to Brady so he would have something soft to hold, something to remind him he wasn’t alone.
That simple wish turned into something much bigger.
Brooklyn realized that there are so many children in hospitals who feel scared, lonely, and in need of comfort—just like Brady. So she decided to take action. She started Bears for Brady, an organization dedicated to donating stuffed animals to children in hospitals.
Each stuffed animal is more than just a toy.
It’s a hug when family can’t be there.
It’s comfort during scary moments.
It’s a reminder that someone cares.
Through her kindness and compassion, Brooklyn is helping bring warmth, love, and smiles to kids when they need it most.
Because sometimes, a simple teddy bear can make a very big difference.
